"Barkerville Gold has filed its agreement. . .with International Bethlehem Mining Corp. to acquire all the issued and outstanding shares of Bethlehem Resources, a subsidiary of IBC. The reason for the purchase is to acquire the Goldstream mill facility, but also included are a tailings pond and related mineral leases and claims, which are located in Revelstoke, BC. Consideration is $750,000 and $1.5 million in common shares in the first year and $550,000 and $500,000 in common shares in the second year. With the Goldstream Mill purchase nearing completion, Barkerville's plan is to refurbish and upgrade the facility to be relocated at base of Cow Mountain, near Wells, BC. The upgrade would see an additional ball mill and CIP circuit in order to increase capacity to 2,000 tpd (from 1360tpd). . .The advantage of the new mill is that it would be close to deposits at Island Mountain, Cow Mountain and Barkerville Mountain, which would mean avoiding the transportation expense of shipping ore." |
