Paradigm Capital Initiates Coverage of ADV

SANTO RANIERI, Paradigm Capital Inc. (12/13/2010)
"Property, Location and Infrastructure—Excellent Access to Infrastructure: Alderon's Kami property is located in the prolific Labrador trough, Canada's premier iron ore-producing district. . .After the completion of its winter drilling program, Alderon is expected to release an NI 43‐101-compliant resource estimate for Kami in mid‐Q111. Following the completion of the winter 2011 program, Alderon is expected to release another update to the resource estimate in late Q211. . .According to the company's current timeline, Alderon will also undertake a major 2011 definition drilling campaign in order to further enhance the reliability and confidence of its estimates. Alderon hopes to be in a position to make a production decision sometime within the next 12–18 months.

Alderon's strategic land position and near‐term exploration upside make the company an attractive investment as one of the few small‐cap, Canadian iron-ore companies left developing its 100%‐owned asset directly in the Fermont/Wabush iron-ore camp—a world-class iron ore‐producing district. In addition to its strategic location, Alderon is currently being steered by a strong management team. . .[and] capitalizing on its strategic asset and a favorable iron-ore market outlook as it continues to rapidly move through the development of its Kami Project; a new and long-awaited estimated resource for the company should be an important catalyst for the company in mid‐Q1 next year, positioning Alderon as a significant contender in the region from a resource standpoint. We have valued Alderon Resources at $4.20/sh with the value derived exclusively by Alderon's Kami Project. Based on a 1.0X NAV multiple, we are initiating coverage on Alderon Resources with a $4.20 target price and a Buy Recommendation."
