SSP Springs to Action

STANLEY RUSSELL, Jennings Capital Inc. (09/01/2010)
"On August 30, 2010, Sandspring announced the appointment of Dennis Kerstiens as Technical Coordinator of its Toroparu gold-copper project in Guyana. Mr. Kerstiens is a Metallurgical Engineer with over 30 years of industry experience in all phases of open pit mining. . .We gained a greater appreciation of the project's exploration upside. . .Two recent step-out holes to the northwest indicate potential for doubling the current resource: hole 77, collared 200 meters northwest of the resource, intersected 10.5 meters grading 0.62 g/t gold and 0.035 copper, followed further down-hole by 171 meters grading 0.59 g/t gold and 0.07% copper, while hole 80, collared another 180 meters to the northwest, intersected 151.5 meters grading 1.07 g/t gold and 0.04% copper. Beyond this, we noted that even the airstrip appears to have potential, with quartz veining at surface having never been tested. . .On the development front, we believe that management is tackling the project in a pragmatic fashion."
