SSP: Clearly a lot of Upside

LAURIE CURTIS, Clarus Securities Inc. (09/16/2010)
"Toroparu represents a significant concentration of gold and copper (6 Moz. global Au resource and 488 Mlb. Cu), which may be a representation of the disseminated gold deposits being discovered in other domains in the Guyana Shield, such as Las Brisas in Venezuela. The deposit occurs within a major structural domain and multiple zones have yet to be tested. Project economics are enhanced by favorable infrastructure and the remarkably homogeneous nature of the gold distribution.

Existence of a higher-grade starter pit (>1 g/t as exemplified by true width 50M—70m intercepts of 2 g/t) will accelerate future development of the Toroparu deposit. The Clarus review substantiated the strong probability that a conceptual 200 Koz./year gold project (260K gold eq.) can be developed at Toroparu based on the current resource model. Overall, the project appears to be situated within a major gold province with drilling success 400m to the northwest of the main zone as exemplified by DDH 80 (151m of 1.07 g/t Au and .04% Cu); in our view, there clearly is a lot of upside."
