AVL: Nechalacho Site Visit

ERIC ZAUNSCHERB, Canaccord Genuity (09/09/2010)
"We recently visited the Nechalacho rare earth element (REE) deposit, part of the Thor Lake project in the NWT, Canada. Bottom line, Avalon's Nechalacho REE project represents the second-largest undeveloped REE deposit globally, the second largest in higher-value HREE and the third largest in niobium. The low uranium and thorium contents (~30 ppm and 130 ppm, respectively) are positive attributes, in terms of permitting.

Key catalysts going forward include a resource update imminently, pilot plant testing by year-end, First Nations agreements by year-end and a bankable feasibility by Q112. We expect Avalon's budget for the next two-and-a-half years to be close to CAD$50M and the company's financing strategy to crystallize over the next few months."
