"Detour released 136 intercepts from 41 drill holes in the Detour Lake Project, having a weighted average grade of 1.67g/t gold (high-grade assays cut to 20g/t) over a weighted average intercept of 12.9m. Five holes were abandoned. The company has now completed its 2009 infill drilling program with 242 holes (101,074m) drilled. The results continue to indicate grade continuity in the primary mineralized sections of the deposit and returned slightly higher-than-average grades than previous drill results for the deposit. The weighted average grade of infill results from Detour Lake has been approximately 1.59g/t gold over an average intercept of 14.2m. Drilling at the West Pit returned significant results, including Hole 09-758, which returned 3.94g/t over 41m and 2.71g/t (cut) over 20m. The company continues to expect that the feasibility study will be completed in the first half of 2010." |
