RBY: Building a New Center of Gravity

ANDREW KAIP, BMO Capital Markets (10/22/2009)
"Rubicon Minerals announced further assay results from ongoing drilling at the Phoenix project in Red Lake, Ontario. The latest results are beginning to build another center of gravity around hole 122-10, which intersected 28.4g/t gold over 18.0m at a depth of 673m below surface. Hole 122-13 intersected zones of gold mineralization, including an interval of 14.1g/t gold over 4m located 70m northwest of the Hole 122-10 intersect. Hole 80-W2 also intersected several zones of gold mineralization 190m above the 122-10 intercept, including 35.9g/t gold over 1.5m and 4.7g/t gold over 14.6m. Further drilling is required to better constrain the dimensions and tenor of this new area. Drilling has also extended the depth potential of the F2 area with hole 64 intersecting a 35m wide interval of favorable geology and alteration at a depth of +1,350m below surface. Within this broad interval, RMX intersected a 0.7m interval grading 80.7g/t gold. Five rigs are active on the project, three on surface and two underground on the 122-meter level. The planned drill program is testing a 1,200m by 1,600m target area."
