RBY: Recent Drilling Very Positive

JOHN GRAHAM, Macquarie Capital Markets (10/21/2009)
"Rubicon announced assay results for nine holes and three wedge holes from the F2 Zone at its 100% owned Phoenix Project in Red Lake, Ontario. . .The best intercept was underground hole 122-09, which was reported as 457.4g/t over 0.5m, at a depth of (approximately) 250m.

However, we highlight holes F2-77 and F2-64-W1 as having the most significant impact. The holes extend the high grade (+30g/t) system materially along strike and at depth (see below). Hole F2-77 intersected 49.5g/t over 0.5m and hole F2-64-W1 intersected 80.7g/t over 0.7m.

Rubicon continues to extend the range of the high grade along strike and at depth. . .In our view, recent drilling has potential to increase our assumed volume of the mineralized envelope by well over 75%—obviously having a material impact on contained ounce assumptions (at grades in the 15-16g/t range)."
