Exceptional Intercept Opens Potential in the Southwest

"Drilling hits wide interval of high-grade gold in the southwest part of the F2 Zone. On September 14, Rubicon reported drilling results from the F2 Zone, located on its Phoenix Gold Project in the Red Lake area of northwestern Ontario. The most recent results are from drill holes testing the southwestern portion of the zone. Of the four reported holes, two encountered gold mineralization. Hole 122-10 encountered a highlight of 13.7 g/t gold over 44.9m at a vertical depth of 673m. This includes higher-grade intervals of more than 100 g/t gold. Implications: This is one of the best holes yet from the F2 Zone, and it further opens the potential for expansion of the high-grade core of the zone to the southwest. The F2 Zone has yielded numerous high-grade results, but the intersection in hole 122-10 is exceptional, with a particularly wide gold-bearing interval. This hole lies to the southwest of the core of the F2 Zone, and it is deeper than most of the higher-grade intersections reported to date. This opens up a target area of high-grade potential for further drilling." |
