"Despite a long history of mineral exploitation, we believe the potential for the discovery of profitable ore deposits is growing in many Latin American countries. . .Mexico for example covers an area of approximately 1.96 million km2. Data from 2006 suggests that while approximately 60% of the area hosts geological conditions for the existence of ore deposits, only 15% of Mexico has seen basic exploration, while only 4% of the country has been fully explored for ore deposits. . .A company Fundamental Research Corp. is following that has had recent success in Mexico, and may be of interest to readers as investment opportunities. . .Silvercrest Mines Inc. is targeting production at the Santa Elena project in Mexico within the next six months.
