Drilling Continues to Increase Size of F2 Discovery

TIMOTHY LEE, Salman Partners (08/16/2009)
"Dundee's Trading Call: If Rubicon can continue to demonstrate the size potential of its F2 discovery, its share price should continue to climb. The company has delineated a significant gold discovery in the heart of the Red Lake camp, and drilling now suggests that gold zones may continue over a large area.

In the longer term, this project appears likely to wind up in the hands of a senior producer. Goldcorp Inc. (G-T: $39.01) has a dominant position in the camp and holds the ground surrounding Rubicon’s Phoenix project.

The News: Drilling hits at depth and along strike at F2, while regional drilling finds new area to the southwest.

. . .Implications: Drilling within the main zone continues to yield good results, while the new area to the southwest offers the potential for significant expansion. The results from hole F2-66 help extend the F2 Zone along strike to the southwest, and continue to demonstrate the depth potential of the zone.

The regional holes offer particularly encouraging results. Although further drilling is required to demonstrate continuity, these results suggest that the gold-bearing structures may continue well to the southwest, in an area that had not previously seen drilling."
