Copper One Intersects Native Copper in First Phase 2 Drill Hole at Majuba Hill

Copper One Resources Corp. (CEXY:CSE; CEXYF:OTCID; IW8:FSE) announced that it completed drill hole MHB-39, the first hole of its expanded Phase 2 diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada.

MHB-39 reached a final depth of 1,460 feet (445 meters), exceeding its originally planned maximum depth of 1,250 feet (381 meters). Persistent silicification prompted the technical team to extend drilling by approximately 210 feet beyond the original maximum depth.

The company reported visually identified native copper at 1,090 feet (332 meters) and copper oxides at 820 feet (249 meters). At its final depth, the hole intersected moderately silicified rhyolite containing stockwork tourmaline veinlets, trace fine-grained pyrite, and trace sphalerite. The visual observations remain preliminary and require laboratory confirmation to establish metal concentrations.

"Completing MHB-39 beyond its originally planned depth provides our technical team with additional geological information as we advance Phase 2 at Majuba Hill," said David Greenway, Copper One's President and Chief Executive Officer, in a company news release. "The visual secondary copper minerals observed in the hole and persistent silicification warrant further evaluation through detailed logging, sampling and analysis."

The expanded Phase 2 program comprises up to 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) of HQ/PQ diamond core drilling, with approximately 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) initially contracted to Evolve Exploration Nevada, LLC. Continuous drilling operations are planned using two shifts, operating 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

Copper One is also incorporating Evolve's EVX Connect platform to provide real-time drilling metrics, digital reporting, drill-hole coordinate tracking, and photographs of recovered core.

Majuba Hill covers approximately 9,684 acres (3,919 hectares) and has an exploration database comprising more than 95,000 feet (28,956 meters) of drilling across more than 100 holes. Assay results from the completed 2026 Phase 1 program remain pending.

Copper Demand Remained Tied to AI Infrastructure and Supply Constraints

According to a November 1 report by Courtney Carlsen for The Motley Fool, copper had become increasingly important to data center development, where "AI clusters and massive campuses require up to 10 times the electrical power of traditional cloud infrastructure." The report also noted that copper prices had risen substantially since the beginning of 2024, reflecting investment in data centers and efforts to expand domestic manufacturing capacity.

The Motley Fool cited projections from S&P Global indicating that worldwide copper demand was expected to increase by 50% by 2040. The report connected the metal's longer-term demand outlook to electrical infrastructure requirements, including the expansion of power grids supporting data centers.

Market conditions shifted in early November as copper prices came under pressure alongside technology stocks. In a November 2 report titled "Copper Declines as Tech Selloff Resumes," Jam Kaimo Samonte wrote that "Copper futures slipped toward US$6.40 per pound on Tuesday," attributing the decline to renewed selling in technology shares and concerns surrounding artificial intelligence valuations.

The report emphasized copper's continued industrial importance, describing it as "an essential material in the global AI expansion" because of its widespread use in data centers, power grids and electrical infrastructure.

Supply conditions also remained a factor. According to Samonte, copper production in Chile, the world's largest producer, had fallen to its lowest level in at least two decades during the third quarter. The report noted that production constraints had provided some support to the market despite broader selling pressure.

Trading Economics data for November 3 placed copper at US$6.3443 per pound, representing a daily decline of 3.04% and a monthly decrease of 3.68%. Despite the recent pullback, the metal had gained 29.69% over the preceding year.

Catalysts: Expanded Drilling, AI Targeting and Resource Definition

Copper One's October 2026 investor presentation outlines an expanded exploration program at Majuba Hill, combining completed drilling, additional diamond core drilling, artificial intelligence-assisted targeting and technical work toward an initial mineral resource estimate.

The company completed 4,015 feet (1,224 meters) of diamond drilling during Phase 1 of its 2026 program. Phase 2 calls for up to 10,000 additional feet (3,048 meters), bringing the combined planned and completed drilling total to approximately 14,015 feet. Phase 1 drill core is undergoing geological evaluation, with observations being incorporated into Phase 2 targeting.

The drilling program is designed to evaluate lateral and depth extensions of known mineralization, establish continuity between mineralized breccia zones, and refine the geological model. Four exploration areas are identified: the Southern Breccia Zone, Northern Breccia Zone, Bald Breccia, and 789 Target. Work includes evaluating historic workings, discrete breccia bodies, and limonite-quartz breccia targets.

Copper One is also incorporating ExploreTech's AI-assisted exploration platform, which integrates drilling, geophysical, geochemical, and historical information into three-dimensional geological models. The company previously tested an ExploreTech-generated target through drill hole MHB-36, which intersected copper mineralization, including 1.5 feet (0.5 meters) grading 1.21% copper.

The company's resource-definition strategy includes integrating drilling results with geophysical surveys, soil sampling, and structural mapping to refine mineralized domains. Subsequent work outlined in the presentation includes infill and step-out drilling, establishing drill spacing for resource modeling, and preliminary metallurgical and density studies.

These activities form part of Copper One's stated objective of preparing an inaugural mineral resource estimate compliant with National Instrument 43-101. No completion date was specified.

Beyond Majuba Hill, Copper One plans additional exploration at its 100%-owned Sport Project in Utah. A 50-sample reconnaissance program returned copper grades of up to 1.155%, and the company intends to expand geological mapping, geochemical sampling and geophysical evaluation to identify drilling targets.

The company's Canadian portfolio includes the Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, where more than 500 meters of drilling have been completed and up to 10 drill sites are permitted, and the Redhill Property, which contains historical copper-zinc drill intercepts. Copper One also announced an agreement on October 7, 2026, to acquire the Sword & Gossan nickel-copper-cobalt properties in Labrador.

Copper One raised gross proceeds of CA$7,955,900 through a special warrant financing completed September 29, 2026. The company designated the proceeds for general working capital and exploration programs. As of October 14, 2026, Copper One reported working capital of CA$19,118,762.
