East Asia Minerals Corporation TICKER: EAS:TSX-V DESCRIPTION: East Asia Minerals is an Asian-based, Canadian mineral exploration company with gold and copper exploration properties in Indonesia, and uranium exploration properties in Mongolia. In Indonesia the Company has a 70 to 85% interest in six advanced gold and gold-copper properties located in Aceh Province, Sumatra, and Sangihe Island, North Sulawesi. Two of these, the Sangihe (Binebase-Bawone) and Barisan 1 (Abong) gold projects, are being drilled to define NI43-101 compliant resources. The company owns ten uranium properties, including the advanced Ingiin-Nars, Ulaan Nuur and Enger uranium projects, and a 75% interest in the Khok Adar copper oxide discovery in Mongolia. East Asia currently has 55,645,372 shares outstanding.

The Gold Report
"Event: East Asia drills 41 m @ 1.61 g/t gold in new sulphide zone, and expands distribution of gold-rich oxide mineralization at Binebase, Sangihe Island, Indonesia
2008 drilling on the property has now delineated a 500 m (NW) by 300m (NE) oxide-silica-clay zone that hosts shallow gold-rich oxide mineralization, and typically deeper gold-silver copper sulphide mineralization (see Exhibit 1). The zone is open in all directions, but practically limited by proximal coastline to the north and northeast. Data show that the northern annulus comprises higher gold and silver grades, and continuity is building to the south." (7/31/08)

The Gold Report
"Recent sampling at the East Asia's 70% joint-ventured Sangihe property has encountered high grade gold at the Sedi prospect with grabs assaying 13.4 g/t, 15.0 g/t and 42.6 g/t gold at Zone One, and 7.78 g/t, 11.2 g/t and 16.0 g/t gold at Zone Two. Grab sampling were additionally acquired at the second Kupa prospect to the southeast. These samples encountered 122.0 g/t, 82.4 g/t and 73.8 g/t gold. Mapping, backhoe excavation and induced polarization are in progress at the Sedi Prospect in preparation for upcoming drill testing." (5/5/08)

The Gold Report
"A maturing polymetalic explorer with a diverse portfolio of gold-copper-silver and uranium and copper exploration projects in Indonesia and Malasia exploiting geographic synergy to take advantage of Asia's untapped mineral potential. The company hopes to define gold and uranium resources in 2008 and 2009 through aggressive drilling programs funded by a 2007 property sale for $83 million cash.
Catalysts: Continuous drill core results from aggressive exploration program in Indonesia; End 2008: Potential NI 43-101 resource estimates for both BaWone-Binebase and Abjong Jasp..." (4/25/08)

The Gold Report
"Abong Prospect, Indonesia builds continuity in gold mineralization
Drill holes ABD-11 to 25 (excluding ABD 12, 14 and 21 as full results are pending) on the Abong Jasperoid Prospect intersected shallow epithermal gold mineralization throughout the property
Gold mineralization occurs in all of the last 12 drill holes with complete geochemical assay data. Thus, all 22 drill holes reported in 2008 on the property have been shown to contain gold mineralization Jasperoid-hosted gold mineralization was the principle target for the new suite of drill hole results. The Jasperoid unit distribution remains open in all directions." (4/3/08)

The Gold Report
"Indonesia continues to return gold mineralization...Drill holes ABD-8 to ABD-10 on the Abong Jasperoid Prospect intersected shallow epithermal gold mineralization in the northwest portion of the property, and returned the following results:
ABD-8: 11 metres @ 1.77 g/t Au gold from 3 metres...
ABD-9: 24 metres @ 1.00 g/t goldAu from 3 metres...
ABD-10: 12 metres @ 1.72 g/t gold Au from surface and 13 metres @ 1.17 g/t gold Au from 19 metres.
Impressions: Jasperoid unit returns continuity of gold mineralization, with potential for additional deeper, breccia-hosted gold mineralization." (3/20/08)
