Expert Analysis
Morning Coffee (1/30/12) "Shares of Commerce Resources Corp. were on fire Friday after the company released the results for four drill holes completed during the summer/fall exploration program at the Ashram rare earth element deposit, at the Eldor project in northern Quebec. Highlight intersections included: 1.) Drill hole EC11-084, which intersected 325.31m of 1.96% total rare earth oxides (TREO), including 52.25m of 2.26% TREO; 2.) Drill hole EC11-085, which intersected 144.52m of 1.94% TREO, including 90.38m of 2.21% TREO; 3.) Drill hole EC11-083, which intersected 88.68m of 2.14% TREO; and 4.) Drill hole EC11-086 intersected 80.56m of 2.14% TREO. Commerce Resources management stated that as drilling progresses north, significant REE mineralization continues to be intersected at surface down to considerable depths."
Ted Niles, Resource Clips (12/19/11) "Commerce Resources Corp. has rare earths in abundance: The phrase 'more of the same' has an uncharacteristically positive implication when applied to the company's Eldor project. . .December 8 results of the its summer drill campaign include 2.04% total rare earth oxide (TREO) over 491.1m, 2.2% TREO over 218.7m and 2.47% TREO over 123.4m. . .with the market for rare earths projected to as much as double over the next five years, alternatives to China are becoming a matter of some urgency; the opportunity this affords rare earths explorers such as Commerce is considerable.">More from Resouce Clips
Midnight Trader (12/8/11) "Commerce Resources Corp. reported the results for an additional 11 drill holes completed during the summer/fall exploration program at the Ashram rare earth element (REE) deposit at the Eldor project in northern Quebec. . .the program continued to return lengthy intersections of REE mineralization, including several lying outside of the area used to calculate the initial NI 43-101 resource estimate. Highlights are as follows: Hole EC11-064 with 491.05m of 2.04% total rare earth oxides (TREO), hole EC11-068 with 218.74m of 2.2% TREO and hole EC11-059 with 123.41m of 2.47% TREO. . .mineralization remains open to the north, south, at depth and is not fully constrained to the west and east."
The Critical Metals Report Interview with Gareth Hatch (11/22/11) "If you look at the breakdown of in-situ tonnage of each of the five CREEs, for neodymium. . .the Eldor project owned by Commerce Resources Corp. is among the highest."
The Critical Metals Report Interview with John Kaiser (11/8/11) "There have been some major [LREE] discoveries, including Commerce Resources Corp., which made the huge Eldor discovery in the far northern part of Quebec. I think that in 2020 and beyond, when the anxiety about supply security diminishes, overall demand will increase as end users become comfortable once more with deploying rare earth-dependent technologies. Quebec will open up its north through its Plan Nord development initiative to create access and power infrastructure and that will benefit some of the remote deposits like Eldor."
