Dryden Gold Corp. (DRY:TSXV; DRYGF:OTCQX; X7W:FSE) reported new drilling results from Gold Rock, including 7.88 g/t gold over 12.70 meters in drill hole DGR-058, with an included interval of 46.05 g/t gold over 1.90 meters.
DGR-058 was drilled along strike between the high-grade intercepts at Jubilee and Pearl at approximately 65 meters true depth. According to the company, the intercept confirmed continuity of high-grade gold over 350 meters of strike length along the Elora structure.
Dryden Gold mobilized a second drill rig in July to expand the Gold Rock footprint and test down-plunge targets. Initial deeper drilling reported on August 31 intersected 9.40 g/t gold over 4.60 meters at 330 meters true depth and nearly doubled the down-plunge extent at Spyglass on the sub-parallel BM2 Trend.
On BM1, DGR-075 returned 1.35 g/t gold over 12.0 meters, including 10.5 g/t gold over 0.5 meters and 15.6 g/t gold over 0.5 meters. The hole tested Barrelman at approximately 300 meters true depth. The company reported that BM1, like BM2 and Elora, continued over 1.5 kilometers of strike with multiple high-grade zones extending down plunge.
The 2025 and 2026 drill programs expanded Gold Rock from three mineralized structures with a single high-grade zone to 15 mineralized structures with 10 high-grade zones. The company said the mineralized structures showed high-grade intercepts with good width within lower-grade gold halos. Further testing is required to define the extent of the newly discovered mineralized structures. New structural data supported two plunges controlling high-grade mineralization at Gold Rock, with additional drill holes pending that tested down-plunge targets.
"The geology team's structural models, targeting the intersection of the three defined deformation events, continues to generate significant results across the many high-grade targets within this robust gold system," CEO Trey Wasser said in the press release. "Proving the continuity of the near-surface high-grade gold mineralization, combined with the successful down-plunge testing along multiple sub-parallel structures is allowing us to begin evaluating the potential for open pit mining at Gold Rock."
Wasser also cited the company's recently announced initial observations from drilling at Mud Lake North, where visible gold was reported in one of the first three drill holes within a broad zone of alteration and significant sulphide mineralization.
Additional near-surface drilling at Jubilee returned 9.91 g/t gold over 1.45 meters in DGR-079, including 25.90 g/t gold over 0.40 meters at approximately 30 meters below surface. At the Big Master Gold System near Treasure, DGR-063 returned 6.96 g/t gold over 2.00 meters on a hanging wall structure at approximately 100 meters true depth. DGR-062 returned 4.56 g/t gold over 1.00 meter on Treasure at approximately 150 meters true depth.
Drilling, Regional Targets, and the Remaining 2026 Program
Dryden Gold's September 2026 investor presentation outlined a fully funded CA$17.5 million 2026 exploration budget that included 45,000 meters of drilling. The program covered Gold Rock footprint expansion and down-plunge drilling, work at the broader Gold Rock Camp, and regional targets.
At Gold Rock, the presentation allocated CA$10.5 million to footprint expansion, down-plunge drilling, and the addition of a second drill rig. It reported CA$5.0 million spent to date and approximately 23,000 meters completed. The presentation showed Gold Rock drilling extending from spring through the end of the year, with the work focused on expanding the footprint and testing down plunge.
The Gold Rock Camp program included Mud Lake drilling and mapping of additional targets. The presentation listed a CA$2.0 million total allocation, CA$1.0 million spent to date, and approximately 1,000 meters completed. Its schedule showed Mud Lake drilling extending toward the end of the year.
The company's stated exploration emphasis included growing the Gold Rock Target Area on strike and at depth, and drill testing at Mud Lake. Regional discovery work focused on the 12-kilometer by 2.5-kilometer Hyndman anomaly corridor and other follow-up targets identified through the property-wide gold-in-till program.
At Hyndman, the company reported that its initial drill program intersected gold mineralization in all six drill holes. The anomaly corridor remained open along strike, and Dryden Gold said it continued to expand its land position by staking an additional 12,000 hectares based on gold-in-till anomalies. A comprehensive exploration program and a 2026/2027 drill program were being planned, with permitting underway.
Initial 2026 mapping at Hyndman exposed a northwest-trending, steeply dipping mineralized shear zone hosting folded quartz-carbonate veins and boudinaged granitic dykes within basalt. Eleven grab samples collected to date returned gold values of up to 31.20 g/t, with additional results of 18.10 g/t, 5.38 g/t, and 11.11 g/t gold. Higher-grade gold values were associated with quartz-carbonate veins within both the shear and dykes, which the presentation identified as a focus for follow-up exploration.
For regional targets, the exploration budget included drilling at Hyndman and Sherridon, along with follow-up work on the soil-till program and mapping. The presentation listed a CA$5.0 million allocation, with CA$1.5 million spent to date and approximately 3,000 meters completed. Regional fieldwork began in the spring, while Hyndman drilling was scheduled later in the program.
The presentation separately identified continued growth of the Gold Rock Target Area, drilling at Mud Lake to test for periodicity on strike in the Gold Rock Camp, drill testing the Hyndman Granodiorite discovery, further testing of the Sherridon regional target, and reviewing the property-wide soil-till program with the goal of adding new regional targets.
