Goliath Resources Ltd. (GOT:TSX.V; GOTRF:OTCQX; B4IF:FSE) reported assay results from drill holes GD-26-426, GD-26-431, and GD-26-442 at the Bonanza Zone of the Surebet Discovery on its 100%-owned Golddigger Property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.
Drill hole GD-26-431 intersected two mineralized intervals along the western fringes of the Bonanza Zone. The first assayed 9.12 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) over 11.27 meters, including 13.89 g/t AuEq over 7.14 meters. The interval consisted of stockwork and breccia veins associated with calc-silicate and biotite alteration, with visible gold to the naked eye, galena, sphalerite, and pyrrhotite. A second, deeper interval assayed 4.70 g/t AuEq over 3.03 meters within a broader interval of 1.08 g/t AuEq over 20.00 meters. The second interval was proximal to the Big Bulk Zone.
GD-26-442 targeted a 100-meter step-out expansion of the Bonanza Zone to the north and intersected 8.35 g/t AuEq over 4.15 meters, including 31.42 g/t AuEq over 1.00 meter. Mineralization consisted of quartz-sulphide veins associated with localized biotite and sericite alteration, visible gold, galena, sphalerite, and pyrrhotite.
GD-26-426 tested a 100-meter step-out of the Bonanza Zone to the north-northwest and intersected 2.93 g/t AuEq over 7.00 meters, including 5.07 g/t AuEq over 3.91 meters. The intercept consisted of sheared quartz breccia containing visible gold, along with massive to stringer concentrations of sphalerite, pyrrhotite, galena, and chalcopyrite.
Drilling during the 2026 program expanded the Bonanza Zone by 750 meters to the southwest, 100 meters to the west, 100 meters to the north, and 160 meters to the northeast. The Bonanza Zone footprint increased to 1.51 square kilometers from 1.27 square kilometers, a 19% increase, while the overall Surebet system footprint increased 12% to 2.01 square kilometers from 1.8 square kilometers. The Golden Gate Zone increased 38% to 1.17 square kilometers from 0.85 square kilometers.
Visible gold had been intersected in multiple veins and shear zones in 52 of 92 holes drilled in 2026. All drill holes from the 2026 program completed to date had intersected quartz-sulphide mineralization. Only a small number of holes from a total of 97 drill holes in the year's program had complete AuEq assays reported to date.
Dr. Quinton Hennigh, Advisor to Goliath and Strategic Investor, commented, "In 2026, the company used a systematic approach to drilling that already has demonstrated a significant increase in the overall size of this system that still remains open both laterally and to depth."
The fully funded 2026 drill program comprised approximately 50,000 meters of systematic drilling using seven drill rigs. Drilling targeted the expansion of known gold mineralization laterally and at depth, with work focused on the Bonanza, Eldorado, Golden Gate, Surebet, and Whopper zones.
