Source:

Silver North Resources continues drilling at Haldane in Yukon's Keno Hill district while starting Veronica exploration. Silver spot price reached $64.58 amid strong industrial and investment demand.

Silver demand is rising from both investment flows and technology sectors, including solar power and electronics. According to an August 12 Investing.com report, analysts see prices moving toward US$75 per ounce in the near term and US$90 over the next six to twelve months. The market remains in deficit through 2027, with investment demand recovering strongly.

Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG:TSX.V; TARSF:OTCQB) recently announced that drilling is continuing at its flagship Haldane Silver Property in the historic Keno Hill Silver District in central Yukon Territory, while the company has also begun its 2026 field program at the Veronica Property in southeast Yukon. The company offers retail investors direct exposure to high-grade silver exploration in one of Canada's most productive silver districts while remaining fully funded for multiple years of work.

Why Silver North Stands Out for Retail Investors

Silver North focuses on silver projects in the Yukon with its flagship asset in the historic Keno Hill district. The company completed a financing that supports two years of exploration and currently operates two drill rigs at Haldane. This positions Silver North to deliver results during a period of elevated silver prices and sustained industrial demand.

Key Investor Takeaways

  • Silver spot price stood at US$64.58 per ounce on August 13 with gains of 68.58 percent over the prior year.
  • Haldane drilling has completed 2,550 meters in 10 holes with results expected starting in September.
  • The company is fully funded for the 2026 and 2027 drilling campaigns after recent financing.
  • Veronica field work targets a 1.2 km by 1 km soil anomaly with 850 samples planned.
  • One analyst maintains a Speculative Buy, citing scale potential at the Main Fault target.
  • High-grade intercepts such as 818 g/t silver over 13.15 meters highlight discovery potential.

Haldane Project: Expanding Mineralization at Main Fault and Bighorn

At Haldane, two rigs continue operating. Ten holes totaling 2,550 meters have tested the Main Fault structure stepping out from the 2024 and 2025 discoveries. One rig has moved to the Bighorn Target to follow up on 125.7 g/t silver over 2.35 meters from a 2019 hole. The Main Fault program is expanding 100 meters of strike and 150 meters of downdip extension. Previous intercepts include 818 g/t silver, 1.39 g/t gold, 2.54 percent lead, and 0.98 percent zinc over 13.15 meters in hole HLD25-31. Core from the first five holes of the current program has been shipped to ALS Laboratories, with results expected in September. The program is scheduled to run into October.

Veronica Property: Building on 2025 Discoveries in the Silvertip District

Silver North has launched a three-week 2026 field program at Veronica in southeast Yukon's Silvertip District. The program follows 2025 work that identified silver mineralization in float and outcrop within prospective stratigraphy for Carbonate Replacement Deposit style mineralization. Objectives include expanding the open-ended 1.2 kilometer by 1 kilometer multi-element soil anomaly through prospecting mapping and additional soil lines. Previous results include mineralized float grading 2,860 g/t silver and an outcropping fault grading 33.2 g/t silver. Approximately 850 soil samples will be collected over the southern half of the property where geophysical anomalies coincide with geochemical highs. Targets generated from airborne LiDAR magnetics and VTEM surveys will also be investigated.

Industry Timing Supports Silver Exploration

An August 13 IndexBox report described fine silver powder demand as increasingly concentrated in photovoltaic cell metallization and multi-layer ceramic capacitor production, which together account for 75 to 85 percent of global consumption. Photovoltaics alone represent roughly half. Higher-efficiency TOPCon and heterojunction solar cells require 30 to 50 percent more silver per wafer than older PERC technology, driving volume growth. Electronics 5G infrastructure, electric vehicles, and Internet of Things devices add further demand. Later on August 13, SD Bullion reported a silver spot price of US$64.58 per ounce.

Analyst Perspectives on Haldane and Funding Position

1John Newell of John Newell & Associates focused on Silver North's exploration position in the Keno Hill Silver District in a February 23 report, noting the Main Fault shows scale and complexity for high-grade mineralization. He highlighted the financing that funds the next two years of exploration and maintained a Speculative Buy with a technical target of CA$1.05. Other commentators, including Michael Ballanger, Peter Krauth, and Richard Mills, have discussed the two-rig program, the SkyTEM survey, and the shift from proof-of-concept to expansion drilling. Krauth noted that the results so far are quite bullish, while Mills emphasized that silver represents 81 percent of the value in recent intercepts.

Share Structure and Funding Status2

Management and strategic investors own 14.6 percent. As of August 13 2026 market capitalization stands at approximately CA$25 million with a 52-week share price range of CA$0.185 to CA$0.57.
