Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG:TSX.V; TARSF:OTCQB) has completed 10 holes totaling 2,550 meters at Haldane while launching a three-week exploration program at Veronica, where previous work returned mineralized float grading 2,860 g/t silver.

Silver North Resources Ltd. (SNAG:TSX.V; TARSF:OTCQB) reported that drilling is continuing at its flagship Haldane Silver Property in the historic Keno Hill Silver District in central Yukon Territory, while the company has also begun its 2026 field program at the Veronica Property in southeast Yukon.

At Haldane, two drill rigs continue to operate, and 10 holes totaling 2,550 meters have been completed since late June. All 10 holes tested the Main Fault structure, where drilling is stepping out from the known extents of mineralization identified during the company's 2024 and 2025 programs.

One drill has now been moved to the Bighorn Target to follow up silver mineralization intersected in the only previous drillhole at that target. The 2019 hole returned 125.7 g/t silver over 2.35 meters. The second drill will remain at the Main Fault.

Drilling at the Main Fault is expanding on 100 meters of strike and 150 meters of downdip extension identified to date. Previous results include 818 g/t silver, 1.39 g/t gold, 2.54% lead, and 0.98% zinc over 13.15 meters from hole HLD25-31.

Drill core from mineralized intersections in the first five holes of the current program has been sampled and shipped to ALS Laboratories. Management expects to begin receiving analytical results in September, while the 2026 Haldane program is expected to continue into October.

Silver North has also started its 2026 field program at Veronica, located in the Silvertip District of southeast Yukon. The three-week program follows work completed in 2025 that identified silver mineralization in float and outcrop in stratigraphy that appears prospective for Carbonate Replacement Deposit, or CRD, style mineralization.

The primary objective of the Veronica program is to expand an open-ended multi-element soil geochemical anomaly that currently covers an area of 1.2 kilometers by 1 kilometer. Prospecting and mapping are also planned within the anomaly to further understand and expand the Lodge and Cooper showings. Previous work returned mineralized float grading 2,860 g/t silver and an outcropping northeast-trending fault grading 33.2 g/t silver.

"The 2025 program at Veronica was highly successful on many fronts," President and CEO Jason Weber said in the company news release. "We expanded the footprint of the Betty soil geochemical anomaly and identified a potential mineralized source in float and bedrock, while mapping indicated that the area has stratigraphy favorable for hosting CRD-style silver-lead-zinc mineralization."

Weber added that the 2026 program aims to build on the 2025 work and follow up on targets generated from airborne LiDAR, magnetics, and VTEM surveying conducted earlier this season.

Additional work at Veronica will investigate several target areas defined by airborne magnetics and VTEM geophysical anomalies. An initial soil grid and contour soil geochemical lines are planned over the southern half of the project, where anomalous soil geochemical results coincide with additional magnetics and VTEM conductivity anomalies. Approximately 850 soil samples are expected to be collected during the three-week program.

Silver North's primary assets include its 100%-owned Haldane Silver Project and the Tim and Veronica silver projects. The company stated that it is fully funded for its 2026 and 2027 drilling campaigns.

Silver's Dual Demand Story Takes Shape Across Investment and Technology

According to an August 12 Investing.com report, analysts had maintained silver price targets of US$75 per ounce for the following zero to three months and US$90 per ounce for the following six to 12 months. The report said investment demand had become an increasingly important factor in the silver market, with analysts expecting a "continued recovery in investment demand." It also reported that silver had faced pressure from higher real yields and a strong U.S. dollar, while demand in India had been reflected in a domestic premium of roughly 7%.

The Investing.com report also described differing trends across silver's industrial end markets. Solar demand had faced pressure from thriftiness and the adoption of back-contact cell technology, while demand tied to AI, 5G, and electric vehicles had remained resilient. Analysts said the global silver market was expected to remain in deficit through 2027, with investment flows playing a larger role in price trends.

An August 13 IndexBox report described fine silver powder demand as increasingly concentrated in photovoltaic cell metallization and multi-layer ceramic capacitor production, which together were estimated to account for 75% to 85% of global fine silver powder consumption. Photovoltaics alone represented roughly half of total consumption. According to the report, the market had entered 2026 with "broader demand fundamentals, more disciplined procurement behavior, and a more regionally diversified supply architecture."

IndexBox said the shift toward higher-efficiency TOPCon and heterojunction solar cells had increased silver intensity because those architectures required more silver per wafer than legacy PERC cells. The report stated that TOPCon cells consumed 30% to 50% more silver than PERC cells, while heterojunction cells could require still more. It described the transition as "a primary volumetric driver" for fine silver powder demand.

Electronics had represented another significant source of silver consumption. IndexBox estimated that electronics and multi-layer ceramic capacitors accounted for about 30% of fine silver powder demand. The report said miniaturization and higher layer counts in capacitors had increased the amount of silver powder required per component, while 5G infrastructure, electric vehicles, and Internet of Things devices had contributed to demand for advanced electronic components.

IndexBox also identified conductive inks and pastes, semiconductor applications, advanced manufacturing, antimicrobial products, and catalytic uses as additional silver powder markets. It said demand for fine powders with specific particle sizes, shapes, and purity levels had increased as manufacturers developed applications requiring higher conductivity and more precise performance. The report characterized the overall market as being supported by "technological innovation and the global energy transition," while also identifying silver price volatility, substitution efforts, refining constraints, and recycling as moderating factors.

Later on August 13, SD Bullion reported a silver spot price of US$64.58 per ounce. Its market data showed that silver had risen 10.64% over the preceding 30 days and 68.58% over the preceding year, while declining 16.07% over the prior six months. SD Bullion described the spot price as "the current market price of one troy ounce of silver for immediate delivery" and said it served as the benchmark for pricing physical silver products.

SD Bullion also stated that silver pricing had been shaped by continuous trading across global markets and that changes in supply, demand, and economic news had affected the spot price throughout the trading day. The source described its quoted spot price as a central market reference derived from multiple wholesale market quotes rather than the price of a single transaction.

Analysts Highlight Haldane Drilling, Funding, and Veronica Exploration

1John Newell of John Newell & Associates focused on Silver North's exploration position in the Keno Hill Silver District in a February 23 report, including the company's work at the Main Fault target. Newell wrote that "the Main Fault is showing the scale and complexity needed to host high-grade mineralization, and they are still early in revealing its potential."

Newell also addressed the company's financing position following a recently completed brokered financing, which he said: "effectively funds the next two years of exploration." He maintained a "Speculative Buy" recommendation on Silver North and wrote that the company had "shifted from 'prove it' mode into 'expand it' mode." His technical analysis identified a "big picture target at CA$1.05."

Michael Ballanger of GGM Advisory Inc. discussed the Haldane program in an April 28 report after completion of a SkyTEM312 airborne survey over the property. Ballanger wrote that "most of their 2026 activity will be focused on Haldane."

Ballanger also discussed the history of the Keno Hill Silver District, describing it as "the site of the legendary United Keno Hill Mines epic move from CA$0.60 to CA$60 back in the late 1970's."

Peter Krauth of The Silver Advisor discussed Silver North's newly launched Haldane drilling program in a June 17 report. Krauth noted that two rigs were expected to operate through the summer and into the fourth quarter, with the program focused on expanding the Main Zone and testing targets generated through fieldwork and the SkyTEM survey.

Krauth highlighted hole HLD25-31, which returned 13.15 meters grading 818 g/t silver along with gold, lead and zinc. He also noted that the second rig was expected to evaluate Bighorn and other targets while field crews conducted mapping and ground-truthing work.

Krauth wrote that Silver North expected to complete between 5,000 and 7,000 meters of drilling before the program concluded in October. He disclosed that he owned shares and described the company as "a higher-risk play as it's still early," adding that "results so far are quite bullish."

Richard Mills of Ahead of the Herd provided a detailed assessment of Silver North's exploration portfolio in a June 24 report. Mills focused on the scale of the 2026 Haldane program, noting that two diamond drill rigs were operating and that up to 7,000 meters of drilling was expected to be completed by October as part of a two-year program funded for between 10,000 and 14,000 meters.

Mills described the Main Fault as the third discovery Silver North had made at Haldane and highlighted the 2025 drilling that preceded the larger 2026 campaign. Discussing HLD25-31, he wrote that Main Fault was "a large chunk of mineralization that appears to coalesce from a wide zone with multiple veins into a narrower (albeit still 13 metres wide in hole HLD25-31) higher grade zone that, interestingly, also has gold with it."

He also emphasized the silver component of the Haldane mineralization. Mills wrote that "the high silver grades indicate that Haldane is a primary silver play," noting that silver represented 81% of the value in HLD25-31, compared with 12% gold, 5% lead and 2% zinc.

Mills identified expansion of the Main Zone and testing of known and newly generated targets as the two objectives of the 2026 drilling program. He noted that one rig was expected to move from the Main Zone to targets including Bighorn, while targets generated from surface fieldwork and the completed SkyTEM airborne geophysical survey were also being evaluated.

Beyond Haldane, Mills discussed the company's Tim and Veronica properties. He noted that Silver North had regained 100% ownership of Tim following termination of an option agreement as of May 24. He also highlighted the airborne magnetics and VTEM geophysical program at Veronica and the company's work integrating information from Veronica with the adjacent Tim dataset.

Looking at Silver North's exploration record, Mills wrote, "The company's success at the drill bit is certainly impressive." He pointed to three Keno-style silver vein discoveries made in 24 holes and identified Haldane drill results, data from the completed Haldane geophysical survey and the Veronica geophysical program among the company's shorter-term exploration catalysts.

Mills disclosed that he owned shares of Silver North Resources. He also stated that Silver North was a paid advertiser on Ahead of the Herd and that the article was issued on behalf of the company.

2026 Exploration Work Advances Across Haldane and Veronica

Silver North's corporate presentation outlined a Haldane program focused on extending Main Fault mineralization downdip and along strike. The presentation called for airborne geophysics to help refine Main Fault targeting and the operation of two drills for four to five months. By August 13, two drills were operating at Haldane, with approximately 2,550 meters completed in 10 holes since late June. One drill remained at the Main Fault while the second had moved to the Bighorn Target.

The February presentation described the Main Fault footprint following the 2025 program as extending at least 100 meters along strike and 300 meters downdip from surface. The August update reported that current drilling was expanding on 100 meters of strike and 150 meters of downdip extension identified to date. Core from mineralized intersections in the first five holes had been sent to ALS Laboratories, with management expecting analytical results to begin arriving in September. The 2026 Haldane program was expected to continue into October.

Bighorn was among the Haldane targets identified in the February presentation. The drill moved to Bighorn in the current program is following up on the only previous hole at the target, which intersected 125.7 g/t silver over 2.35 meters in 2019.

The presentation also described the West Fault, where five holes drilled in 2021 tested the structure along strike and downdip at nominal 50-meter step-outs. That work added 100 meters of strike and 90 meters of dip direction, with mineralization described as open to depth and along strike. Middlecoff and Johnson were identified as additional Haldane targets.

Veronica was identified in February as a high-priority target for 2026 exploration. That work is now underway. The current three-week field program is focused on expanding the open-ended multi-element soil geochemical anomaly, which the August update described as covering 1.2 kilometers by 1 kilometer. Approximately 850 soil samples are expected to be collected.

The Veronica program also includes prospecting and mapping at the Lodge and Cooper showings and investigation of targets defined by airborne magnetics and VTEM geophysical anomalies. An initial soil grid and contour soil geochemical lines are planned over the southern half of the property, where anomalous soil geochemical results coincide with magnetics and VTEM conductivity anomalies.

The February presentation also addressed the Tim Property in the Silvertip District. The property is optioned to Coeur Mining, with terms calling for US$3.55 million in exploration over five years, US$575,000 in cash payments, and completion of a feasibility study by the eighth anniversary.
