Sranan Gold Corp. (SRAN:CSE; SRANF:OTCQB; P84:FSE) is a junior exploration company focused on advancing its two Suriname gold projects in the Guiana Shield. The shield holds more than 100 million ounces of gold, and Suriname produces in excess of 600,000 ounces per year. Management has a proven track record of major gold discoveries in this prolific region, including Merian — now run by Newmont Corp. (NEM:NYSE; NGT:TSX; NEM:ASX) — and Rosebel (operated by Zijin). Sranan Gold has completed NI 43-101-compliant reporting and is well-funded, having closed a private placement that raised about CA$3.5 million. Some of that capital is for its newest project, Lawatino, where it just announced high-grade gold assays, including 11 samples grading greater than one gram per tonne gold and a huge one that graded 101.5 grams per tonne. The company's other project is Tapanahony, which covers about 29,000 hectares in what historically was a significant artisanal mining district. For 2026, the company has an aggressive 12,500-meter drilling campaign in full swing, and potentially exciting assay results are pending.
Lawatino Gold Project
Sranan acquired the project, also located in Suriname, in February of this year and announced in June that it had begun moving crews to the property for preliminary field work. The concession overlies the Central Guiana Shear Zone, which is the same deep-seated regional structure that controls the gold mineralization on Founders Metals' adjoining Antino project and Miata Metals' Sela Creek project.
The initial results from the Phase I reconnaissance program returned numerous assays greater than one gram per tonne gold, including one sample of a mineralized quartz vein that graded 101.5 grams per tonne gold.
Tapanahony Gold Project

Geology: The project targets structurally controlled, shear-hosted orogenic gold mineralization within the Paleoproterozoic Guiana Shield, a region known for Tier-1 gold systems like the nearby Rosebel and Merian mines, as well as the Oko West, Omai, Aurora, Toroparu, Yaou, and Couriège deposits.
Poeketi: The Poeketi zone lies north of the Tapanahony River along the Poeketi Shear Zone (PSZ), where artisanal miners have been extracting high-grade coarse gold from numerous surface pits and shallow underground workings. Gold mineralization along the PSZ is hosted within silicified zones and quartz veins with sulphides forming within sheared basalts.
Drill Program: The diamond drill program along the high-grade Poeketi zone continues to advance. Five holes have now been completed, and a sixth hole is currently being drilled along the mineralized corridor. Drill core from the completed holes has been logged, sampled, and submitted to the laboratory. The company awaits key assay results.
Drilling also continues at the Randy's Pit zone with nine additional holes completed. Core from these holes has been submitted for assay, and results are also pending.
Why Gold?
Unlike government fiat money, which is little more than electronically printed debt, gold money is real wealth.
It's the most important reserve asset of most central banks, and it's very rare; all the gold that's ever been mined could probably fit in a 200-cubic-foot block.
Gold is the world's greatest money and excitingly… It's mined.
After staging a powerful rally against the U.S. fiat dollar over the past few years (from about US$1,600 to US$5,600), gold has been consolidating those gains in a healthy way.
Gold Bullion Bull Flag Chart

Technical Analysis and Observations:
- On this weekly chart, the key 14,5,5-series Stochastics oscillator is massively oversold.
- This is occurring while a large bull flag is coming into play.
- The flag target is US$9,000.
Gold Support Zone Chart

Technical Analysis and Observations:
- US$3,900 is a key support zone, and it's close to the round number of US$4,000.
- It's becoming likely that the bull flag pattern will be completed around this price zone, and from there, a major rally will begin
Gold Stocks
Gold-oriented companies that find large gold reserves that can be mined at a low cost can attract significant shareholder interest.
With gold showcasing a bull flag pattern in the US$4,000 zone, the resource-weighted CDNX index is also bullish, suggesting it's time to start a buy program on value-priced explorers like Sranan.
CDNX Long-Term Chart

Technical Analysis and Observations:
- On this long-term chart, there's an enormous inverse H&S base pattern in play.
- The pattern's target is the 2000 area, and if it's reached, many low-priced miners with good projects could experience explosive price action.
Sranan Gold Daily Chart

Investment Thesis Summary
- The Gold Sector: Central banks love gold, and key price charts overwhelmingly favor the bulls.
- Chart Buy Alert: Sranan stock is attractively priced and basing on the chart. Important oscillators are in bull mode and flashing buy signals.
- High-Grade Resource Definition: Recent assays confirm significant high-grade mineralization (e.g., 20m @ 1.33 g/t Au and surface chips up to 108.3 g/t Au), validating the potential to convert extensive artisanal mining activity into a defined, multimillion-ounce institutional resource.
- Strategic Asset Expansion: Sranan has acquired the 18,468-hectare Lawatino Project, situated on the same Central Guiana Shear Zone as major neighboring deposits. Early reconnaissance has already returned exceptional, high-grade results (up to 101.5 g/t Au), offering a low-cost, high-reward exploration upside that diversifies the company's pipeline beyond its primary asset.
- A Tier-1 Shield: Located in the geologically prolific Guiana Shield (host to the Rosebel and Merian mines), the projects benefit from established mining infrastructure and a government actively seeking foreign investment.
