Vault Strategic Mining advances its Nevada tungsten project with a high-resolution magnetic survey after Phase 1 sampling returned up to 1,100 ppm tungsten. Learn the latest exploration details and market context.

The tungsten sector is drawing renewed investor attention as supply constraints and defense demand push prices higher. Vault Strategic Mining Corp. (KNOX:TSXV; KNXFF:OTC; M85O:FWB) is advancing exploration at its War Bond Tungsten Project in Nevada with a new airborne survey designed to refine drill targets beneath cover.

Why Investors Are Watching Tungsten Now

Global demand for tungsten continues to outpace new supply, particularly from aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. The United States has historically relied heavily on imported tungsten, with domestic production limited in recent years. Projects located in stable jurisdictions such as Nevada are therefore gaining visibility among investors seeking domestic critical-mineral exposure.

Company Focuses on a Historically Productive Nevada District

The company recently announced that it engaged Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd. to conduct a previously announced high-resolution, UAV-based airborne magnetic survey at its War Bond Tungsten Project in Nevada. The 20-claim package covers roughly 400 acres in the Delaware Mining District and includes the past-producing War Bond, Tactite, and Thursday tungsten mines. The company is building a modern dataset to support a maiden NI 43-101 technical report.

Phase 1 Sampling Highlights Mineralization Under Cover

Recent surface work returned tungsten values up to 1,100 ppm, with the strongest results tied to garnet-bearing tactite. Three samples from the Caved Adit area averaged 780 ppm tungsten. Soil samples along a north-south structural corridor reached 187 ppm tungsten. These results, combined with pathfinder elements such as molybdenum, bismuth, copper, and manganese, suggest the system extends beneath soil and sand cover.

High-Resolution Magnetic Survey Will Guide Next Steps

The planned survey will fly approximately 70 line-kilometers at 25-meter spacing. Data will help map magnetic features, structural trends, and contacts that may host tungsten-bearing tactite and skarn. Chief Executive Officer Quinn Field-Dyte stated in a company news release. Results will be merged with Phase 1 geochemistry and historical records to prioritize drill targets and support permitting.

Market Fundamentals Support Long-Term Interest

On August 2, the National Minerals Information Center described tungsten as a metal with applications across industrial, electronic, electrical, and defense-related markets. ChemNet reported on August 4 that the "current global tungsten market is in a state of high tension." According to a 2026 annual report from Global Market Insights Inc., the global tungsten market was valued at US$7.3 billion in 2025 and was estimated at US$7.6 billion for 2026, with growth projected to US$11.6 billion by 2035 at a 4.8% CAGR.

Key Investor Takeaways

  • War Bond is a past-producing tungsten project in Nevada with documented tactite and skarn mineralization.
  • Phase 1 sampling returned grades up to 1,100 ppm tungsten and identified a 1.6 km structural corridor.
  • A 70-line-kilometer UAV magnetic survey is underway to refine targets beneath cover.
  • Work supports a maiden NI 43-101 technical report scheduled for later in 2026.
  • Tungsten prices have risen sharply since early 2025 amid defense and industrial demand.
  • Technical analyst Stewart Thomson issued a Buy rating with a CA$0.42 short-term target in July.

Share Structure and Roadmap

Vault Strategic Mining Corp. has a market capitalization of CA$3.98 million and 14.76 million shares outstanding. 1Management and insiders hold 8.05% of the shares. The company plans to announce priority drill zones in Q3 2026 and release a technical update outlining the 2027 exploration program.

Vault intends to integrate the high-resolution magnetic survey data with its Phase 1 sampling results and available historical information.

Common Questions from Investors

What is the War Bond Tungsten Project? It is a 400-acre claim package in western Nevada that includes three historical tungsten mines and is now being explored with modern geophysics and sampling.

What were the best sampling results? Rock-chip assays reached 1,100 ppm tungsten, with elevated manganese and other pathfinder elements associated with garnet tactite.

Why conduct a magnetic survey? The survey will map structures and contacts beneath soil cover to generate and prioritize drill targets.

What is the next milestone? Integration of new magnetic data with existing results to support drill permitting and the maiden NI 43-101 report.

The company cautions that historical production figures predate current reporting standards and have not been verified under NI 43-101. Investors should treat all exploration results as early-stage and subject to further confirmation through drilling.
