Lion One's Tuvatu Project

Lion One Metals Ltd. (LIO:TSX.V; LOMLF:OTCQX) announced in a news release that the controlled source audio magnetotelluric (CSAMT) surveys conducted late last year at its Tuvatu project in Fiji showed an underlying structural network at the alkaline gold system.

"We can readily see evidence of structures we think were critical conduits for gold-bearing fluids during time of mineralization," Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to Lion One, said in the release.

The CSAMT surveys revealed the north to south-striking Tuvatu lode system and the less explored east to west-striking West Tuvatu lode system to both be controlled by deep-rooted structural corridors, one dipping to the east, the other dipping to the south, respectively.

The intersection of these two systems represents a high priority drill target, the company noted. Further, the presence of the controlling corridors indicates the lodes likely could be expanded beyond 1 kilometer in depth and could assist in finding the feeders.

The surveys also revealed at least three, also deep-rooted structural corridors to the west and two to the east of the Tuvatu lode system. Similar corridors also were seen in other places under the Navilawa caldera, including at Banana Creek.

"We now have a long list of new structural drill targets that we think have the potential for hosting significant gold-bearing lode deposits," Hennigh added.
