Aben Resources Ltd. (ABN:TSX.V; ABNAF:OTCQB) announced in a news release that analytical results from the ongoing 2019 drill program at Forrest Kerr in British Columbia's Golden Triangle continue to show widespread polymetallic mineralization throughout the North Boundary zone.
The latest findings are from five holes drilled at the margins and well outboard of the main core of mineralization at North Boundary.
For instance, hole FK19-52 returned a 16 meter (16m) interval between 323m and 339m that averaged 2.22 grams per ton (2.22 g/t) gold, 2.39 g/t silver and 3,050 parts per million (3,050 ppm) copper. The zone also contained two different 1m high-grade intervals of 19.85 g/t gold, 9.1 g/t silver, 6,810 ppm copper and 11.3 g/t gold, 8.7 g/t silver and 14,900 ppm copper.
Specifically, at North Boundary thus far, Aben has defined gold-silver-copper mineralization over a 600 meter by 250 meter area.
Overall, Aben drilled 21 holes covering about 8,000m at Forrest Kerr's North Boundary. It aims to increase that to 10,000m by the end of this month. "The 2019 drill program will focus on increasing the mineralized footprint in the Boundary valley and will seek to discover a heat and mineralizing source for the robust hydrothermal system present on this part of the property," the release noted. "As a result, analytical results are expected to continue to exhibit a range of values from trace to high grade."
In other news, Aben renegotiated with Sandstorm Gold the terms of certain royalty agreements over its Yukon-based Justin and Hit properties. The new settlement agreement reflects a reduction from 3% to 2% in Aben's royalty obligation to Sandstorm and a termination of Aben's obligation to make advance royalty payments to Sandstorm.
