The Gold Report
"Among the top buys on our list in this sector...Miranda Gold declined precipitously at the beginning of the year...But it’s a well-financed company with solid management and a good spread of exploration properties throughout Nevada, most of which now have new joint venture partners and are ready for drill programs." "...one of my favorites is still Miranda because of their team. Forty percent of the geologists nowadays have gray hair and are going to retire over the next five to 10 years, and there aren't more qualified ones in the next generation. Teck Cominco estimates that as many as half of its workers in British Columbia will retire in the next five years!...Miranda's geologists: Joe Hebert, Steven Koehler and their boss, Ken Cunningham. It’s an amazing team with a lot of experience; they have a really good nose to discover something. They just haven't had luck lately. And for me that’s just a matter of time until they get lucky again, because they haven't lost their knowledge about mining or about finding a deposit." (5/30/08)

The Gold Report Interview with Hans Peter Schmidlin
The Gold Report
"All the Miranda Gold advantages:
- Excellent portfolio of prospective properties in stable, mining friendly jurisdictions (mostly Nevada)
- Good geographical diversification in Nevada, but easier to manage than far-flung worldwide locations
- Competent and experienced management – Miranda Gold's management team has been involved in over 20 million ounces of gold
discovered in this area.
- Close supervision of JV partner work Well funded - $11.5 million in the bank with a burn rate of ~$2 million per year
- Business model that assures the high risk early exploration expenses will be funded by JV partners
- Good institutional ownership – Lundin family own 5%; Rule family owns 3.2%; Adrian Day Asset Management has 5.2% in managed accounts.
- Continued effort to locate large gold systems; now searching for properties in Mexico
Summary/Conclusion – Miranda’s share price is down by approximately 2/3 from its high in August 2007. We believe that is largely a function of the major correction the junior gold mining sector has suffered through over the last year as well as an absence of any serious drill programs last year. Now however, with these shares basing in the $0.60 to $0.75 range and with several very aggressive drill programs going forward in 2008, we think the table is set for the possibility of a major rise in the price of MAD. "Miranda Gold (MAD:TSX-V) is at the top of my list. I like Ken Cunningham's team and I think it is one of the best exploration teams in Nevada. They are in a very established mining region and the possibility for a discovery with that combination is high. The current share price seems to offer a good opportunity for long-term Investors." The Gold Report Interview with Sascha Opel
The Gold Report
"News from Miranda took a turn for the better when it announced that privately owned Queensgate Resources Corporation had signed a JV agreement on the Coal Canyon, BPV and CONO projects. Queensgate must fund $3.0 million in exploration over five years to earn a 51% interest. The projects are located in the heart of Nevada’s Cortez gold trend and 5.8 square miles. Coal Canyon is 10 miles south of Barrick’s eight-million-ounce Cortez Hills gold deposit. Miranda performs grassroots exploration work before farming out its projects. But until we see signs of greener grass, it’s a hold." (4/08)
