Stans Energy Corp. is a resource development company focused on heavy rare earth element (HREE) properties. Stans' goal is to become the first HREE producer outside of China.

Expert Analysis

Michael Smith, Seeking Alpha (2/16/12) "We do expect Stans Energy Corp. to release a prefeasibility report in the near future that will shock the world. . .the recent drill results proved that the tonnage of the mine is larger than previously thought, and the prefeasibility study will prove that this mine is indeed economic. Since we see this potential news for what it is, we recommend initiating a trade on Stans for this news alone for possible gains of 50–100% as this would be the only HREE mine outside of China proven economic and with proven production methods already in hand."

The Critical Metals Report Interview with Byron King (1/31/12) "I have followed Stans Energy Corp. very closely. There is nothing wrong with Stans! And note my exclamation point! At one point the share price got down to $0.55. People were wondering if the company was terminal. My answer was that it's God's way of giving you a buying opportunity. And the stock has doubled over the past month.

My take on things is that Stans is putting midstream and downstream deals together. I am very confident that Stans will succeed in what it's doing with its HREE play. It has an incredible level of technical skills resident in its relationship with the Russian Leading Institute of Chemical Technology, or VNIIHT, a Russian laboratory that dates back to the Cold War days of the Soviet Union. VNIIHT is filled with brilliant scientists, physicists, engineers and chemists who know how to bring the ore out and separate it into the right elements. . .Stans is at about $1.10, but within a year it could be a $5 stock. In a four-year development program, the upside is probably in the $20 range." More >

Energy and Scarcity Investor (1/13/12) "Stans Energy Corp. has a solid REE ore play in Kyrgyzstan: The ore is chock-full of 'heavy' REE atoms, which are the kind that people want and need the most, and for which the pricing is strongest. The relationship with VNIIHT gives Stans a technical leg up on all of the competition; thus, I strongly suspect that Stans will be one of the premier deal makers in 2012."

Kevin Kerr, Uncommon Wisdom (1/11/12) "Stans Energy Corp. is a name I'd recommend. . .[it] meets all my criteria, and has pulled way back from its high due to the global economic crisis. But that just makes it a bargain in my opinion: The rare earth market is sure to remain volatile, but as new technologies become available, demand will be explosive, and so will be the potential profits."

Byron King, Energy & Scarcity Investor (9/26/11) "Stans Energy Corp. is cashed up. I've previously described the ore body and serviceable, Soviet-era equipment and the strong relationship with the Russian science and engineering establishment. . .I have a very positive feeling that we'll learn about some sort of deal news by the end of 2011—remember, this is a heavy rare earth play in which the pricing is strong and likely to remain so."
