Redhawk Resources is an exploration and development company focused primarily on the accelerated development of its advanced-stage Copper Creek copper-molybdenum project in San Manuel, Arizona, approximately 70 miles northeast of Tucson, Arizona. The property is in the prolific southwest U.S. porphyry-copper belt at the intersection of a major northwest belt of porphyry-copper deposits. The area is a mining-friendly and politically-secure location with excellent and readily accessible infrastructure and a copper smelter located within 30 miles of the property.

Expert Analysis

The Gold Report Interview with James West (2/22/12) "I am waiting, almost minute by minute, for a takeout offer on Redhawk Resources. The company has 3.4 billion pounds copper in a resource, but it has been on a 30,000m drill program that will produce a new resource calculation in April. I think that will almost double the resource, triggering the interest of majors looking for high-value, safe-jurisdiction copper deposits with good production infrastructure. . .the company is sufficiently controlled by management to prevent an opportunistic major from taking it out at a discount. Redhawk's largest shareholders are unanimously adamant that they will not take less than $2/share if they have to sit on it for a century. That is probably why you see a bit of weakness in the share price.

If the updated resource is doubled, the share price will reflect that in very short order. A rising share price will trigger the interest of a major who wants to get in before the price goes up too high. I think that will happen for Redhawk in 2012." More >

Chris Berry, Morning Notes (1/31/12) "Redhawk Resources' goal of increasing the production rate at Copper Creek appears attainable. . .we are confident that the company is on the right path to developing the project into a producing mine with world-class potential. It is focused (and we emphasize FOCUSED) on the best asset in the best jurisdiction in the U.S. . .Redhawk ranks favorably on our Discovery Investing Scoreboard Ten Point Factor Model; based on crowd scoring, it appears that the "crowd" views the company as having high potential for investment gains. We anticipate the crowd score increasing as Redhawk's management executes its stated goals."

The Gold Report Interview with Michael Berry (1/8/12) "Chris and I visited Tucson, where there are several great porphyry discoveries. . .one junior miner in particular, Redhawk Resources, has been drilling and it's onto something. Arizona, Nevada and Idaho are great states for mining. Given the unemployment in some of these regions, there is a new lease on life for junior mining companies to work in these states. . .The stock is cheap; there's no doubt about that. Its property, Copper Creek, is quite spectacular. When we visited in December, it had three rigs turning. There are close to 400 breccia outcrops of fairly small tonnage, but very high-grade copper, gold, silver and molybdenum. Red Hawk is looking for deep, but high-grade, thick veins that characterize big discoveries like Butte in Montana. I like the management team. It raised $20M earlier this year and it's probably going to have to go back to the market again or do a joint venture. There's lots of interest and it has confidentiality agreements signed with the big boys. There are smelters literally all around it. It's got great infrastructure. There's a good chance for a world-class discovery there." More >

The Gold Report Interview with Michael O'Brian (11/9/11) "Redhawk Resources is operated by a team of highly experienced professionals including Joe Sandberg and his technical group of geologists and engineers along with Stephen Barley, executive chairman, and a world-class advisory board. Redhawk's property, Copper Creek in Arizona, has excellent infrastructure. Within 30 mi there is a mill and smelter. The interesting thing about Redhawk is that it had a resource calculation completed in 2008 containing 3.4 Blb of copper. The company has been actively drilling over the last year and has increased its property size to 28 square miles. Redhawk has only drilled 20% of the property. In my view, there is a very good chance that the resource could be increased closer to 5 Blb.

Redhawk has completed important metallurgical work. The company hopes to achieve about 20 Kt/day to produce about 150 Mlb copper/year. I believe that there is potential to open-pit all or a portion of its property. In my mind, Redhawk is a top takeover candidate. I know a number of major companies that are looking at its project at this time. . .Redhawk shares are trading at a very low market cap compared to the value that we may see near term."

Bill Vlahos, Value Investing Letter (10/4/11) "Redhawk Resources' 100%-owned Copper Creek project represents a unique opportunity with already proven resources, a quick timeline to production, unusually strong infrastructure and substantial upside to the base case as only a small minority of the property has been drilled to date. . .there has been a tremendous amount of mergers and acquisitions in the junior copper space in the past year and half and we believe that there is a strong probability that Redhawk's time is coming near."
