The information below is based on the most recent information we have received from analysts and the companies participating in The Gold Report. We encourage you to visit the company's web site for updates.
"Otis has several very interesting projects, but the current one—where historical drilling shows 11 grams over 9.5 meters—really gets me interested. That's why we've been putting Otis in our portfolio and will continue to do so. I want to see how they do with this Kilgore Gold Project because the market's ready for resources with big tonnage that also comes with pretty hot running ore. That means you can define a high-grade resource and treat it almost like an independent underground mine, but also block out a bunch of stuff in the 1- to 5-gram range that really makes it a big tonnage operation. We're excited about that one and curious to see how they do over the next year in the drill program they have underway."

TGR: Now, could you tell us about some of those specific companies that you consider grossly undervalued vis-à-vis their peers?

MF: Sure. I have a few of new ones. One company I'm looking at right now and haven't said boo about it is Otis Gold Corp., a very well-run company with a low number of shares operating in southeast Idaho with an advanced deposit. Otis did a 65-cent private placement in the late fall and is currently trading in the 55-cent range.

"The next set of drilling results should be coming out within the next few weeks. Considering the investor interest created by the last results, there's no reason not to expect the next time around to be any different.

Otis shares have started to recover a bit. However, it all hangs on the drilling results. Until then, Otis is still valued at around $13 per ounce of gold and the value will show though. I still like this one, but we'll reevaluate after the results."

"In the book Market Wizards, Jim Rogers said, 'I just wait until there is money lying in the corner, and all I have to do is go over and pick it up.'

Otis is currently valued at $12 an ounce of gold in the ground. That's money lying in the corner.

Now, it's just a matter of time until the company releases more drill results to show how much money really is lying in the corner. It's only a matter of time until the market comes to pick it up."

    -   Andrew Mickey, Q1 Publishing (12/14/09)

"Although Otis Gold has just gotten started with a few thousand metres of drilling and some geophysical surveys at the Kilgore gold project 97 km north of Otis Gold probes high-grade potential at Kilgore Idaho Falls, Idaho, geologists Mitch Bernardi and John Carden are pretty confident that their hard work won't be a waste of time.

The reason: this pair of geos has worked here before, so they've been able to review the old data—including a historic resource of 706,000 oz. gold at a grade of 15 grams gold per ton—with ease and certainty.

. . .The company is expecting results from the first six holes of the summer drill program before the end of the year. The company had completed 15 of 18 holes at press time. Exploration will stop between January and May. Lindsay says the results of the latest drill program will help the company decide if it will begin a prefeasibility study.

Results from a geophysical survey done on a nearby Dog Bone Ridge target should also be coming out soon.

Otis has four other gold projects in Idaho and one gold project in Nevada. The company has about $4.8 million in the bank and it's just raised another $4 million–$2.4 million through a private placement and $1.6 million in warrant exercises."
