  Evolving Gold Corp.

TICKER:  TSX.V:EVG, FSE:EV7

DESCRIPTION:  Evolving Gold's focus is finding multi-million ounce gold deposits in proven gold-producing areas in Western USA. Initial assays from its discovery property, Rattlesnake Hills, WY, reveal an intersection of 2.48 gpt over 146 meters. The company's geoscience team has over 200 years of collective experience.

The information below is based on the most recent information we have received from analysts and the companies participating in The Gold Report. We encourage you to visit the company's web site for updates.
"Evolving Gold is a gold explorer focused on the Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming. It's still relatively early but they've produced intercepts that indicate the rocks were subjected to a large gold-mineralizing event similar to the Cripple Creek mine in Colorado. Quinton Hennigh, EVG's president and chief geologist, previously worked at Newmont and is a great geologist.

Evolving Gold has a healthy cash position and provides great gold price and exploration leverage."

    -   The Gold Report Interview with Craig Stanley (01/19/10)

"Evolving Gold's primary focus is the development of its 100% owned Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming, host to high-grade and bulk-tonnage targets. Evolving Gold shareholders were rewarded last year with a 416% return.

During 2009, the company spent $9M on exploration, which included drilling 29,700m in 78 core holes, with notable intercepts including 67.1m grading 10.8 g/t Au, which represented a major extension of the North Stock mineralization zone at Rattlesnake.

. . .Look for pending assays from 23 holes at Rattlesnake Hills, a 29,500m drill program, a resource estimate in Q2/10, permitting of baseline studies, and metallurgical test work. With a comprehensive portfolio of properties in well¬-recognized North American gold mining districts and an attractive treasury ($18.SM), including high-grade and bulk-tonnage potential at Rattlesnake Ridge, Evolving Gold is primed to continue to expand on its exploration success at Rattlesnake Ridge through 2010."

    -CHRIS THOMPSON,   HAYWOOD SECURITIES (01/19/10)

PG: Most of my plays are based on increasing value and possibly an acquisition as juniors. . .

TGR: Can you tell us about some of the companies in your model portfolio and why you selected them?

PG: To follow up on what I just said, an ideal company that fits that mold is Evolving Gold (TSX V:EVG). Earlier this year, Evolving Gold made a major discovery in Wyoming, the Rattlesnake Project. It's in an area of the country famous for large-scale gold production; the Cripple Creek area has produced over 25 million ounces of gold already. The company is awaiting drill results on over 40 holes that have been in the labs for assay. Drilling will pick up again in the spring, but the hope is that many of these assays will continue to show that the company is on to a several million ounce deposit. It's early in terms of results so far, but you can do back-of-the-envelope analyses and start to think they're already there, with a lot more opportunity. That is what I think people need to look at—companies that are already identifying significant deposits but they can grow larger.

    -   The Gold Report Interview with Peter Grandich (12/01/09)

"2009 drilling highlights include 67.1 meters grading 10.8g/t Au, including 12.2 meters grading 39.29 g/t Au in hole RSC-020 (a high-grade zone of mineralization located along the wall of the diatreme).

Drilling at Antelope basin intersected broad intersections of low-grade mineralization (163 meters at 1.25g/t Au) with bulk mineable potential.

In July 2009, the company received total proceeds of $4.89 million from the exercise of 7.33 million warrants at prices ranging from $0.60 to $1.50 per share.

The company continues to be in a strong cash position with about $19 million ($0.21 per share) in its treasury as of August 5, 2009. Our discussions with management indicated that the company will have about $13 million after all its current payables are paid.

We have raised our valuation from $0.70 to $1.40 per share. EVG has increased 131% since we initiated coverage in June 2009."

-SIDDHARTH RAJEEV,   FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH CORP. (10/23/09)

"On the Gamblin' side, our newest entrant, Evolving Gold, released the assays from one hole at their Carlin property, Nevada. The results prove they have indeed found the haystack—under 850 meters of barren rock. The best intercept, 35 meters grading 1.21 grams per ton gold is encouraging but a long, long way from being economic at that depth. They are planning at least two more holes that we all hope will find the needle."
