Expert Analysis

Annie Zhang, Octagon Capital Corporation (2/3/12) "Mega Precious Metals Ltd. reported 15 intercepts in 10 holes drilled at the Burn zone on the Monument Bay project. . .despite somewhat lower than previously reported weighted average grades, drilling continues to return wide intercepts (>14m) and extend the Burn zone, which now has a strike length of over 1,700 m. Thus, we believe the initial open‐pit resource base could be extended beyond the Burn zone and potentially result in a substantial resource increase in the upcoming resource update. . .we maintain our view that the company has demonstrated and will continue to prove its ability to grow its resource base."

The Gold Report Interview with Annie Zhang (1/23/12) "Good stories with theme-changing catalysts will outperform in 2012, however. For example, Mega Precious Metals Inc. is coming out with a resource update for the Monument Bay project in Manitoba. This resource update will outline for the first time the open-pit resource potential, which will significantly derisk the project and potentially improve the economics.

Mega has five projects in its portfolio. Three of them, including Monument Bay, North Madsen and Headway, are currently being actively drilled. The Satterly deposit, which is southwest of Gold Canyon Resources Inc.'s Springpole deposit, was just optioned in May and Mega is currently doing the fieldwork there, preparing for preliminary drilling to test some early projects this year. It also has the Blue Caribou high-grade copper deposit in Nunavut. . .Mega's management has been focused on Monument Bay and North Madsen, anticipating that they have the best potential to grow gold ounces. They have been delivering results. Through drilling conducted in 2011, North Madsen's gold resources in Measured, Indicated and Inferred categories increased to 1.3 Moz from fewer than 36 Koz in 2010. At Monument Bay, gold increased to 1.8 Moz, up from 1.2 Moz in 2009." More >

Annie Zhang, Octagon Capital Corporation (8/22/11) "Mega Precious Metals Inc. released a resource update for the North Madsen project in Red Lake, Ontario; at a 0.5 g/t Au cutoff, the project contains NI-43-101-compliant Measured & Indicated resources totaling 937,167 oz gold grading 1.24 g/t, and Inferred resources of 379,026 oz gold grading 1.03 g/t. . .it represents a significant increase from the 2009 initial resource estimate and beat the estimate of 540,000 oz gold we used in our model."

Ted Yew, Octagon Capital Corporation (8/4/11) "Mega Precious Metals Inc. released assays from the first nine holes, including in-fill and step-out holes, of its 15,000m summer drill program at the Monument Bay project in Manitoba. . .highlights include: TL-11-391 (in-fill, C zone) 21m of 1.44 g/t Au between 82m and 103m. . .another updated NI 43-101 resource estimate is expected by the end of the year to incorporate the results from the summer drill program."

Ted Yew, Octagon Capital Corporation (7/13/11) "Mega Precious Metals Inc. released assays from five holes drilled at the Buffalo Extension zone on the North Madsen project located in Red Lake; assay highlights include 21m of 4.4 g/t Au between 52.5m and 73.5m (MML1136), 21.3m of 0.94 g/t Au between 239.7m and 261m (MML1138) and 15.9m of 1.65 g/t Au between 123.6m and 139.5m (MML1144). . .drilling continues to demonstrate the project's open-pit potential and has outlined a total of seven mineralized zones on the property."
