Silver ETFs on a Winning Streak

Silver prices have broken out recently amid the turmoil in the Middle East, and now an ETF tracking silver miners may follow suit.

The roughly $500 million Global X Silver Miners ETF is on a three-day winning streak during which it has rallied about 10%.

SIL closed Tuesday's session at $27.59 a share, just shy of its recent high of $27.93 recorded on Jan. 3. The silver-miners ETF was launched in April 2010.

Watch for a breakout in the silver-miners ETF above $28.
