Great Bear Resources Ltd. (GBR:TSX.V; GTBDF:OTC) made available a 3D model of the gold mineralization at its Dixie project discovered to date through drilling, it announced in a news release. The company will discuss the model, along with recent results, in a webinar at 11 a.m. PST on Jan. 17. Also, a video of the model is available on Great Bear's website.
The 3D model reflects drill hole and geological data Great Bear generated, along with historical information other explorers collated. It depicts the 12-square-kilometer area of Dixie where most of the drilling took place, from the surface to a depth of 1 kilometer.
The model highlights the mineralization that exists in the Limb, Dixie and South Limb zones. Also, it incorporates interpretations of the data, such as where the D2 fold axes are, from "12,008 litho-geochemical samples, 2,998 structural measurements and 20,898 gold analyses," the release noted.
In other news, Great Bear resumed its 2019–2020 drill program of 150 holes over 30,000 meters. Soon, the company will mobilize another rig to more quickly drill the known targets, and it will continue to release the results in groups as they become available.
"The company is fully funded for this work and anticipates a very active sequence of news flow," President and CEO Chris Taylor said in the release.
