India commodity indexes have carried out roaring business as the turnover of 23 commodity exchanges, accounted together, has seen a giant leap of 57.5% to touch Rs 53,11,356 crore for July in the current fiscal, according to Forwards Market Commission (FMC) data.
This surge is in sharp contrast to Rs 33,72,249 crore in turnover for the same month last year.
Bullion turnover has more than doubled to Rs 30,57,508 crore July this fiscal from Rs 15,19,559 crore for previous fiscal. Gold and Silver boomed even as guar seed, Chana and soya oil, too, attracted business volumes. . . View Full Article
