Expert Comments:

"Callinex Mines Inc. has done very well over the last two years. It has managed to raise money from significant investors, including Resource Capital Funds, to fund ongoing exploration at its flagship Pine Bay project in Manitoba, where the company has recently discovered two new mineralized zones. If enough economic quantity of rock can be found, it can be very easily trucked to the facilities of Hudbay Minerals, which needs new sources of ore. Callinex has also acquired three primary zinc projects in Canada, for insignificant cost to its treasury. There are very few juniors that offer significant exposure to zinc, particularly with a strong management team. I'm looking ahead to upcoming drilling programs and more acquisitions—supported by recently raised money." read more >

"Just a few days after Callinex Mines Inc. disclosed the purchase of the Point Leamington project from Newmarket Gold, the company has now announced it has signed a binding purchase agreement with Slam Exploration to acquire the Superjack and Nash Creek VMS projects. . . What’s important here is the fact Nash Creek and Superjack are located close to existing processing plants. Superjack is just 50 km by road from Trevali Mining’s Caribou mine, whilst the Brunswick #12 Mine site, is located towards the northeast of the property. . .Focusing on processing the Superjack ore at the Caribou mill might be a viable option."

"Callinex Mines Inc. has signed a binding purchase agreement with Newmarket Gold whereby Callinex will acquire Newmarket's Point Leamington project in Newfoundland, Canada. Leamington is an advanced stage project with an inferred resource estimate of just over 14 million tonnes with an average grade of 6.2% zinc-equivalent; the zinc-equivalent grade is based on a zinc grade of 1.86%, whilst the inferred resource also contains gold (1.07 g/t), silver (just over half an ounce per tonne) and approximately 0.42% copper."

"Callinex Mines Inc. released the results of an additional five drill holes from its winter drill program at Pine Bay project near Flin Flon, Manitoba. . .we're very pleased to see four of the five new holes that have now been reported also contain significant copper mineralization. . .the most notable intercept was discovered in hole 9, where the drill bit encountered almost 11m of 1.4% copper just 51m down hole. That's an excellent result, considering the company was targeting a large gravity anomaly, as that anomaly was also indicated in the company's surface and borehole electromagnetic survey."

"Callinex Mines Inc. has made a lot of progress in the past few quarters. . .after having announced a great interval of in excess of 44m at an average grade of 4% Cu eq, the company popped up on a lot of radar screens. . .Callinex Mines has found exciting intercepts in the past year. . .the acquisition of advanced stage VMS properties may be another catalyst for the stock and an opportunity for the company's technical team to leverage its expertise. . .we anticipate the management team will continue its aggressive, no-nonsense approach to build a strong portfolio of assets."

"The decision to go ahead with a rather sizeable exploration program has now paid off as Callinex Mines Inc. has officially confirmed the discovery and existence of a high-grade copper and zinc zone at Pine Bay within walking distance from HudBay Minerals's 777 mine in Manitoba. . .not only is the discovery hole locating a potentially sizeable ore body very close to existing infrastructure, but the exact size of the mineralized zone is still unknown as the discovery remains open along strike and at depth."
