The Gold Report
"Freegold Ventures released an update on its bulk sampling activities at the Golden Summit Project near Fairbanks, Alaska. The results pertained to initial processing conducted in September and October 2007.
Freegold said that stockpiles from a variety of areas returned grades from 0.6 grams per tonne to as high as 7 grams per tonne, with the weighted average of all material tested being 2.7 grams per tonne. Freegold has a further 23,500 tonnes of material currently stockpiled and confirmed it will process the material over the next four months along with a further 45,000 tonnes being collected from the Beistline, Fence 1 and Tolovana areas." The Gold Report
"Freegold Ventures Limited announced that it had resumed a bulk sampling program at the Golden Summit project near Fairbanks, Alaska.
Freegold has expanded the crushing and grinding capabilities of the company’s gold recovery plant, after last year’s metallurgical results highlighted the potential to increase recoveries. The plant is capable of processing up to 1,200 tons of material per day, and was build to allow Freegold to determine the continuity of a number of gold bearing shear zones while also producing cash flow from the sale of the gold recovered. Gold recoveries ranging from 80 to 95% were reached in the labs using a “relatively coarse grinding”." (6/13/08)

The Gold Report Interview with Sascha Opel
The Gold Report
"Freegold reported further encouraging gold assays from a closely-spaced drill program at its Golden Summit gold project near Fairbanks, Alaska. More than seven million ounces of gold was produced in the area of Golden Summit beginning in the gold rush days and extending until 1942. Most of that gold was recovered from placer streams at the base of the hill, with 500,000 ounces mined from high grade veins that averaged more than one ounce per ton. Exploration in modern times initially sought to delineate veins with enough continuity to justify modern mining. Numerous high grade vein intersections have been encountered by drilling, but the veins tend to be narrow and discontinuous. The property was also evaluated for its bulk tonnage potential...
The shallow drilling by Freegold has now identified a gold zone that extends for 5,000 feet. That zone is still wide open laterally and to depth. More work is required, but it would appear that portions of that overall zone could be identified with grades well above the overall average within the area drilled. The deposit is only a few kilometers from the Fort Knox mill, and therefore could be of interest to the operator of that mine. Even better, the Golden Summit deposit has the makings of a deposit large enough to support a mine in its own right...
Freegold has identified a gold-bearing system large enough to host a multi-million ounce gold deposit. Work over the coming year will continue to test that system to outline zones with the right combination of grade and tonnage." (4/08)

Resource Opportunities
The Gold Report
"Freegold Ventures is a classic discovery play. CEO Steve Manz took it over, and he's done a great job with it; he's going to be a great CEO. This was a 40-cent stock but they kept making discoveries, and eventually the market recognized that this was more than a micro cap stock, and they bid the stock up. The stock got as high as $2.70. It was hurt in this last down turn but it's very cheap. One property is in Alaska and lots of gold has been discovered there, so I like Freegold's chances. I call them a mature discovery play rather than an incubator because they have made some significant discoveries. Once they start to pile up the resource, the market is going to wake up and say, "Hey, wait a minute! This is more than just an ordinary stock, this is for real." When that happens, it's very exciting, and I think that could happen to Freegold. I think Freegold has great potential." (3/25/08)
