Undervalued Aberdeen

Addicted to Profits (11/12/2010)
"Aberdeen reported an investment portfolio of $0.99 a share. The stock is worth $0.62 if you include royalties and if the company can reclaim its loan from Simmer and Jack Mines Ltd., the NAV could be in the $1.20–$1.30 area. So, this stock could be trading at a near 50% discount to NAV and at least a 38% discount. Therefore, despite the big run in the stock in the last quarter, it is still cheap as most holding companies tend to trade at a premium to NAV and it trades at a 38%–50% discount."
