MFL: Persistence Pays Off

Zeal Speculation and Investment (09/20/2010)
"Minefinders is an excellent junior gold producer that has definitely lived up to its name. This persistent junior acquired its initial Dolores land position way back in 1993, and has diligently explored its holdings through much adversity. MFN is one of the rare juniors to have survived the terminal stage of gold's secular bear in the 1990s, and then develop a gold mine on its own. It also overcame some geopolitical issues caused by unruly locals during development. And, ultimately, its persistence has paid off. Minefinders has found its mine, a low-cost and long-life gold and silver mine with excellent potential for expansion. Dolores just recently achieved commercial production and is expected to produce about 100 Koz. gold and 2.5 Moz. silver in 2010.

In addition to its flagship mining operation, Minefinders owns a solid portfolio of Mexican exploration projects. Its advanced-stage La Bolsa project along with a number of grassroots targets all hold great potential. And considering its top-shelf management team, I suspect MFN won't be a one-mine company for very long."
