The firm intends to extend its drill season this year by one month.

Aben's Forrest Kerr Gold Project

Aben Resources Ltd. (ABN:TSX.V; ABNAF:OTCQB) announced in a news release its plans for the 2019 drill season for its Justin project in the Yukon and its Forrest Kerr project in British Columbia.

At Justin, Aben will conduct up to 20 holes over 600 meters (600m) of rotary air blast drilling in the orogenic Lost Ace zone, starting in June. It will conduct up to 10 diamond drill holes over 1,350m to further test the intrusion-related gold system previously discovered in the POW zone. The company will test to see if a multiphase hydrothermal system exists, one that could overprint the mineralizing systems with the POW zone. Also, Aben will continue to identify additional targets.

The Justin program should take about three to four weeks to complete. Around that time, in late June, Aben will start the campaign at Forrest Kerr, which will entail drilling, surface sampling and prospecting across the property. First, though, it will have an airborne magnetic survey of the entire Boundary zone done.

Next, drilling will commence in that same zone, initially looking for a possible northward extension of the high-grade mineralized core there. Drilling in the area due south of the North Boundary zone will test for potential connections with past high-grade gold discoveries. Also, drilling in the South Boundary zone will further test the polymetallic occurrence there, where broad gold-silver-copper-zinc intercepts were hit last year.

"New pad locations will allow Aben to further test with greater certainty and confidence locations that may have been drilled last year but were constrained by the limited angles and pad locations and will be able to test many new targets based off the new geophysical survey as well as the existing geochemical survey with greater confidence," the release noted.
